Peter Gzowski is best known as the host of CBC Radio's "Morningside." Gzowski began his journalistic career at the University of Toronto's student newspaper The Varsity. After editing several small-town newspapers in Ontario, he became managing editor of Maclean's magazine, entertainment editor of the Toronto Star, and editor of the Star Weekly.
Gzowski began broadcasting with the CBC's "This Country in the Morning," which established him as a popular talk show host. After an unsuccessful attempt at television, he returned to radio as host of "Morningside" in 1982.
Peter Gzowski is also the author of numerous articles and books, including Our Game, Private Voice: A Memoir in the Form of a Journal, and four volumes of Morningside Papers.
